Description

An original 1st stereo pressing of New Masters on UK Deram from Xmas-68. But this title was 1st released in 1967 right? Yes, Mono can be obtained from 1967-68. But 1st stereo copies appeared comparatively late on in Summer 1968. Matrix 1W/1W - 1st cut. Stampers 1A/1BC - good audio provenance. Note the labels exhibit an inverted tape number and the stereo format is highlighted - which places this copy straight into srping'69. the heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original stereo cover. We have a generic white inner from the time.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely shiny condition with only lightest use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation. Remember the audio on this title is going to be exceptionally fussy - only a super clean will get you close to a fantastic rendition. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. About as good as is humanly possible to go. Clean throughout. Maybe a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots. And one isolated tick in [LOG]. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex) Difficult to find these original copies looking smart after this passage of time. But this original example is looking superbly preserved. The front is lovely and shiny with just one miniscule thumbnail crease. The rear is looking smart and has largely avoided the ageing process. Very little edge wear with nice sharp firm openings. The spine is 100% intact and the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
