Description

Cat Stevens Rare Buddha And The Chocolate Box Acetate Record Trident Studios

Sale is for an original  Acetate Record of Cat Stevens  “Buddha And The Chocolate Box” Two sided

The album name is not on it, though 7 of 9 songs from this album are on it. The titles are hand written on the label. Please note the sequence of songs is different then how they appear on the finished album.

~record is a metal core acetate, cut directly form the master recording. It has the Trident Studios label on it.

This record is coming from the collector who purchased it in the 1970’s. We listened to it once, with a high grade phono cartridge. It sounds great. I am not sure if the content and mix are the  same as the finished released material. We are unable to do a direct comparison. Condition is great, some age related marks on label. Some dust and tiny marks on record when looking it over closely . I have not attempted to clean it. There is one nick on the edge of the record that exposes the  metal.  Sleeve looks good, cover has some hand written note on it that was made years afterwards.
