Description

In an effort to help fund an upcoming release from the Bahamas, I'm selling a lot of local records I tracked down digging around the islands. All of these are rare original pressings, and most are unknown. Bid with confidence, ask me any questions if you want to know more about a record for sale.

ALL BAHAMIAN EBAY RECORDS PLAYLIST: https://soundcloud.com/smilingc/sets/bahamas/s-OlcMD ARTIST: Cay Gottlieb & Friends
 TITLE: Tar Baby / ?
 LABEL: G.B.I. Recording Co. Ltd.
 YEAR: 1981
CAT NO.: G.B.I. 1987
 GENRE: Soul Jazz Funk
VINYL: Plays G- to G+, Visually G-.
SLEEVE: Generic
LABELS: Seen better days / b-side is unreadable and has mold.

DESCRIPTION: Another in the expansive repetoire of Cay Gottlieb. This one is deep, I love that spoken word over the jazzy soul instrumental. It's pretty worn, and it doesn't help they tried to pack 6 minutes of song on a 7". But too good not to put up for ya!

SHIPPING: Within the USA it's $3 for the first LP/12"/7", and you can add $1 per LP/12"/7". To Canada it's $16.50 for the first and $5 per additional LP/12"/7". International rate is $23.50 for 1-2 LPs/12"s/7"s, $35.50 for 3-5 of any combo, and orders of 6+ records ship via USPS Priority International which will be calculated after the order is placed. Please wait for the invoice after making your purchase.

GRADING: I grade on the conservative side. Some records have a variety of condition across the grooves. Each sound clip is unaltered.
Feel free to contact me if you want to add any of the Smiling C releases to the order (except Shams... SOLD OUT! :-))
