Item Description:
IMPORTANT: In light of recent events, I need to point out a couple of things. First off, even though I'm just a regular guy selling my collection, and not a giant mega-store, I still believe in giving excellent customer service. I'm easygoing, and I'm always willing to work with a buyer, if there is ever a problem with something purchased from me. All I ask from the buyer is that he/she deal with me in a rational manner, and I promise to resolve the problem. Secondly, since some people are either too stupid or too lazy to ask questions, and in the spirit of transparency, I should point out that I am a smoker. This is an issue for some people. If you are one of those people, you might want to reconsider before bidding on my auctions.
My grading scale: NM, NM-, EX+, EX, EX-, VG+, VG, VG-, Fair, Poor. So adjust your scale accordingly.
Celtic Frost-Morbid Tales LP on Metal Blade/Enigma Records (MBR 1033/72016-1).
Original 1985 US pressing with the two extra tracks not on the import (Noise Records) version, "Dethroned Emperor" and "Morbid Tales". This is the "bloody axe" Metal Blade label version. Comes with a lyric poster. Also has the merchandise sheet. That's my cat, Abbath guarding the lyric poster. Actually, he's sleeping.
Vinyl is borderline VG+/VG a light "thud" sound (in the press?) in the beginning of Side 1. I don't see a divot or anything that would cause this. It goes away after the intro. Also has a group of small scratches on Side 1 that cause a noise in the lead grooves (mostly between the first two tracks). Aside from that, just some ticks/snaps, and some light scuffs. (Side 2 plays more like borderline EX-/VG+; no small scratches and plays cleaner). Has mild warpage, typical of vinyl.
Jacket is VG+ with light edge wear (mostly on the bottom spine), bumped corners/corner wear, some small creases along the spines, light edge wear along the opening, a couple of strong creases in the upper right corner, and a couple of larger creases along the side spine (on the back).
Lyric poster is EX with light edge wear along the fold lines, a few small creases along the edge, and a few small creases from handling.
Merch insert is EX with bumped corners, a few light creases from handling, and some creases in the upper left corner.
