ok. so this is, i assume an acetate from the Charisma Band, who had a couple of singles in the mid 70s including "Ain't Nothing Like Your Love" This record, to my knowledge was never released. i could find no information about it online.
Side A is a great funky soul jam called "Step Aside". Only problem is that it probably will not play all the way through. i am a novice when it comes to acetates but it appears like it has partially peeled from it's base. so the vinyl on top is cracked but not the entire thing. in any case i could not get it to play without a constant skip until i got to the last 1/5th of the record. shame because the song is great. perhaps there is a way to fix it, but i cannot say for sure
the other side is good too. a slightly more down tempo jam called "What Can i do." this song plays throughout with constant surface noise, but not too bad. if i was sound grading it, i guess it would be somewhere between G and VG. if you have any questions about this record, feel free to shoot me a message here and i'll do my best to answer.
