Description

(VG+) copy of Current 93's Swastikas For Noddy on Laylah Anti-Records, LAY 020. Complete w/ insert (insert is NM). Record plays perfect
This is the original LP version before they had to change the title to Swastikas For Goddy This original pressing comes with the lyric insert sheet, and is housed in the pictorial sleeve designed by Steven Stapleton of Nurse With Wound. This is one of Current 93's landmark albums, marking their shift towards a folk-influenced sound and it has become very scarce. Often called "the pop album", because compared to the former style of the band, this one consists of more structurised songs with acoustic instrumentation. If you enjoy their music, especially their earlier works, this is a must-have. It is very dark folksy and heavy on the Pagan imagery, and it reminds you a bit of Death In June at times. In fact, Douglas P. of DiJ is a guest on the album, as is John Balance of Coil and also Boyd Rice
