DAMON "SONG OF A GYPSY" 1969 Psych Rarity Original ANKH LP TEXTURED GATEFOLD Cover

 

DAMON - "Song of a Gypsy" LP on the Ankh label, from 1969. This is a original US private pressing of a megarare underground acid fuzz folk psych album. One of the most sought after and rarest psychedelic albums of all time. Music is trippy, mystical Eastern acid folk fuzz psych with haunting vocals. This is the 1st pressing with the beautiful black textured gatefold cover, with gold embossed lettering.

The cover is in nice VG++ condition,. There are some light colored fingerprints on the front but no tears and really sharp covers. All things considered the shape of this record is in pretty amazing condition for this fragile cover. The black textured gatefole back cover is blank. The labels are totally  clean. The disc is nice and glossy. I would grade it visually as a strong VG+, with only some very light surface hairline type marks.  Absolutely impossible to find. This is a ORIGINAL, and not a reissue.
