Description

Absolutely beautiful copy of the original 1979 pressing of David Grisman's Hot Dawg, on Horizon SP-731. One of the best of the wonderful run of incredible bluegrass-jazz records he made with the late great Tony Rice, who is just blistering on this record, along with Mile Marshall, Darol Anger, Todd Phillips, and even Stephan Grappelli himself! This is maybe Tony Rice at his best, just incredible…. And all the rest are totally amazing. Rare promo copy with gold promo stamp on the back, hype sticker on the front, and “promotional - not for sale” labels. This copy is in lovely shape. The disc is very nearly perfectly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. The cover has a touch of general wear with some corner wear and red staining at the bottom right on the back.. and a sticker residue at the top right on the front. Some general signs of use, but not bad. This is a top original promo copy, hard to beat.
