Absolutely beautiful copy of the original 1979 pressing of David Grisman's Hot Dawg LP, on Horizon SP-731. Here he is fully into the gypsy jazz sound, and even features the violin of Stephane Grappelli himself, the greatest gypsy jazz violinist of all time. But the king of these sessions is, in my opinion, the great Tony Rice, who is just blazing here. He is getting out of the bluegrass mold and really expanding in dramatic ways here. So magnificent. Anyhow this copy is in top shape. The disc is very nearly perfect mint and plays flawlessly and beautifully. The cover is almost mintish as well, with a cutout slit at the lower right, and a slight corner crease there as well, otherwise near perfect. A top original copy, and a must for Tony Rice fans.
