Original UK stereo gatefold LP, release date 1972 on the Purple label, catalogue number: TPSA7504 Matrix nos: side1) TPSA7504A-1U side 2) TPSA7504B-1U Condition of cover/record: NEAR MINT / MINT (Grading as used by Record Collector) The laminated cover was printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd, England, & is in nearly MINT condition. There are very few very minor blemishes: there are 3 curved creases each approx one inch or less (two on rear, one on front surfaces); there is approx one inch of thin wear on the top edge, and none on the bottom edge; there is a ¼ inch crease in the front cover bottom corner; there are four very thin wear marks on the inner gatefold surfaces two are less than ½ inch long, the other two are less than 1 inch long & they are all positioned approx ½ inch away from the bottom edge. There are no other creases, no tears, rings, no other wear to any of the edges, no splaying of the open edge, no writing or stickers. The inner lyrics sheet has full lyrics to all songs, and is in excellent condition apart from some marks on the side and bottom edges where there are glue marks from where I stuck this on the wall. There is also a 1 & ½ inch tear in the bottom left corner – see photo – but the sheet is complete. The spine is in perfect condition, as is the print on it. The inner sleeve is white polythene-lined paper. The two labels each have several very light spindle marks. The record plays FAULTLESSLY – AS IF STRAIGHT FROM THE FACTORY – NO CLICKS POPS OR CRACKLES AT ALL. A STUNNING SOUND, MINT QUALITY. This record was cleaned and played before the auction to ensure accuracy of description. This item has no reserve on it, & is from my personal collection.
