DELANEY & BONNIE & FRIENDS "ON TOUR" w/ERIC CLAPTON Original U.S. 1970 Atco white label promo LP. Has promo sticker on front right side. Stereo SD 33-326 M-/M-.

Delaney & Bonnie Bramlett, the Southern white soul man & wife duo were the darlings of the British rock elite in the early 70s. This 1st LP for Atco (after outings on Stax & Elektra) attracted British guitarist extraordinaire Eric Clapton, ex-Traffic guitarist Dave Mason & George Harrison (billed here as "Mysterioso" for contractual reasons) recorded live on tour in England. Other musicians include Rita Coolidge on backing vocals, Bobby Keys on sax, Jim Price on trumpet & trombone & future Dominos Carl Radle (bass), Bobby Whitlock (organ) & Jim Gordon (drums). It was co-produced by Delaney & Jimmy Miller. Their sound is akin to the "Mad Dogs & Englishmen" era Joe Cocker & Leon Russell on such tunes as Dave Mason's "Only You Know & I Know" & Bonnie's & Eric's "Coming Home" which has a great guitar riff by our hero. Record is housed in the original Atco catalog generic inner sleeve.

8 tracks- Things Get Better, Poor Elijah, Only You Know & I Know, I Don't Want To Discuss It, That's What My Man Is For, Where There's A Will There's A Way, Coming Home & Little Richard Medley.

Textured cover has minor handling wear & corner wear on the right top & bottom. There is a 2" round day-glo orange sticker on the front right stating "Promotional Copy, Not For Sale" in black lettering. Cover is in near MINT condition. Record sounds great with no scratches or scuffs but could use cleaning. Only played a few times- rated near MINT. The white Atco labels look great & prove that it is an original promo pressing from 1970. They have "Sample Copy, Not For Sale" printed above the "Stereo" designation in the middle right of both sides.
