Visual vinyl: VG+, few superficial marks and one scratch on B-Side
Audible vinyl: EX-/VG+, A plays great, B with very, very faint pops for about the first minute due to one scratch. Please listen to soundfile and judge for yourself (both sides in one clip).
Description: Early reggae won't come better than that! One of the very best singles you can get for your money. Drifter rhythm is probably the strongest ever to come out of Jamaica (in my humble opinion at least) and 'Run Girl Run' is a stormer too.
I am a collector myself and hate being disappointed by overgraded records. I grade conservatively and strict, using the record collector grading system as shown below. Anyway, if you are not satisfied I offer full money back for returned records.
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
