Description

THE CAROUSELS- "FADING AWAY"/ "SOLITUDE"- G.C. 601- (1st press original)- The vinyl is visually in only fair condition. Well played with numerous scuffs and marks. There is writing and label wear on both labels as shown in the scans. The in-demand side "Fading Away" plays nicely with moderate surface noise, it plays better than it looks. The flip side which has more of a pop sound plays with heavy more obvious surface/crackly noise. Great uptempo Black Doo Wop out of Cleveland, Ohio on a tiny obscure label. Rare one ! No reserve ! Label owned by Gene Carroll who had a syndicated local variety show in the 50's and early 60's.
