Description

THE CAROUSELS- "FADING AWAY"/ "SOLITUDE"- G.C. 601- (1st press original)- The vinyl is visually in fair condition. Well played with numerous scuffs and marks from heavy play & improper care. There is writing and label wear on both labels as shown in the scans. The in-demand side "Fading Away" plays nicely with moderate surface noise, it plays much better than it looks. The flip side which has more of a pop sound plays with heavier more obvious surface noise. Great uptempo Black Doo Wop out of Cleveland, Ohio on a tiny oscure label. Rare one ! No reserve ! Label owned by Gene Carroll who had a syndicated local variety show in the 50's and early 60's.
