On offer here is a very VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Doors called 'Strange Days' and is a 1968 MONO UK 1st pressing!!!! THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE LP IN EVERY RESPECT!!!! IT IS SO RARE TO FIND A MONO 1ST PRESSING STILL COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL PICTURE/LYRIC INNER SLEEVE - AND IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ONE IN THIS CONDITION!!!! THIS IS THE VERY FIRST MONO 1968 UK 1ST PRESSING WITH ITS ORIGINAL PICTURE/LYRIC INNER, A FULLY LAMINATED 1ST PRESS UK COVER, AND 1ST PRESS A/1 B/1 MATRIX ENDINGS!!!! DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is an Elektra UK 1st MONO pressing from 1968 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is EKL 4014 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Elektra Label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Doors at their best!!!! Any fan of The Doors, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, 2 light and NON sounding scufflines and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under EXTREME light!!!! Basically this record is VISUALLY PERFECT apart from 2 light (& NON sounding) scufflines!!!! AWESOME!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and NO crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade FULL Excellent!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The MEGA RARE Picture/Lyric inner sleeve is in STUNNING condition and is a PURE WHITE colour (how rare is that?), with NO splits, NO stains, and only a few light creases!!!! IT IS MASSIVELY RARE IN THIS CONDITION!!!! The 1st Press UK MONO FULLY Laminated Cover is in STUNNING condition and is one of the BEST I have EVER seen!!!! The first thing to notice is that the laminate shines like a MIRROR with NO glazing - and it is VERY clear that this cover has been in a plastic sleeve all its life!!!! The laminate on this cover is the best I have EVER seen - and it is MASSIVELY rare to find this cover with UNGLAZED laminate like this!!!! The cover has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking) and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! The laminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! The cover must grade Excellent++ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY RARE WITH ITS ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE - AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE IN THIS CONDITION!!!! DONT MISS OUT ON THIS EXTREMELY RARE LP!!!!
