The DOORs / STRANGE DAYS   rare MONO MIX; with matching original mono cover (see photo shows front and back mono designation) Near Mint---ultra rare condition; The Bottom Line, GOOD-LUCK FINDING ANOTHER COPY....

Scarce. Wait until you hear the mono mix of  "When the Music's Over" from the opening notes to the end!!  These long out-of-print mixes will NEVER get heard anywhere else Elektra erased the masters too; there are NO reissues!

STEREO v. MONO Always a matter of opinion which is better or more important.True Stereo albums give great imagery and presence whereas mono albums usually are more dynamic, louder and present the detail more clearly. MONO albums are far harder to find in genuinely top playing condition. THIS is a play-graded record. As a general guide to rarity, mono was the far more common format from '61–'65; Around 1966–67 the music industry pressed more stereo LPs because more consumers were buying the available stereos systems; consequently, making monos from these dates far scarcer, even rare - this effects values greatly. This DOORS' Title in particular. I have yet to find a true NEAR MINT 'mono' COPY offered anywhere, so this condition is quite rare.  NO RESERVE; NO Big opening price...again, a reare chance to acquire a primo audiophile mono pressing..

VINYL: NEAR MINT  ( I can see a barely perceptable spindle mark on side 2--otherwise we are talking about a virtually UNPLAYED copy!!!)
COVER:  VG++ (note the 'mono' points on both the front and rear of this original mono cover; SQAURED SPINE; READABLE TOO; slight scuffs on front/ring wear see photo-this is NO mono stick-over a stereo copy, friends!!

Play -Graded Notes:  Wow! BAM~  bold high detailed listening via monomix from the first pressing. PRESSING, MONO MIX!!!  Unheard of NEAR MINT vinyl --see it on my Throens' rig with V15 shure Cart--what a sound !
