DR. HOOK & THE MEDICINE SHOW 2 LP LOT
The band's first two studio LPs, both the RARE first 1972 US pressings.
Both are in similar superb condition
... with spectacular, clean wax that PLAYS LIKE NEW ... and nice, clean VG+ jackets.

1) "Sloppy Seconds" Columbia KC 31622 (1972) The band's debut LP
Wax both LOOKS AND PLAYS LIKE NEW.
Super high gloss remains. Labels are clean and bright, look LIKE NEW.
Original gatefold jacket is VG+, with modest ring/rub wear.
Jacket front and back color photos and text are rich and clear.
Inside gatefold area is flawed only by minor rub wear.
Solid seams and spine. No splits. Spine print is crystal clear.
Includes original custom inner sleeve (with band member photos), in EX condition.
2) "Doctor Hook" Columbia C 30898 (1972) The band's 2nd LP
NM wax PLAYS LIKE NEW, flawed only by some very light, superficial paper scuffs which are visible under bright light but have no discernible impact on sound quality.
Super high gloss remains. Labels are clean and bright, look LIKE NEW.
Jacket is VG+, with modest rub wear.
Jacket front and back photos and text are rich and clear.
A few thin approx. 1/8 to 1/4 inch long cuts/tears present on jacket front near top seam.

Solid seams and spine. No splits. Spine print remains clearly legible.
Includes original 12 x 12 inch custom insert (with lyrics and credits), in EX condition.

Here find the first two rare and highly collectible LPs of Doctor Hook & The Medicine Show, both first US pressings with superb wax that plays like new. You will be very "hard pressed" to find these gems in similar much less finer condition elsewhere. Hoping these two go to a good home.

Wax is play graded (not just visually graded), employing Goldmine Price Guide standards.
As I take great care to accurately describe my items, I do not accept returns unless my item description is incorrect.
All records are packaged with the wax outside the jacket (to avoid seam split in transit), enclosed in a plastic sleeve and shipped in robust record mailer boxes via USPS Media Mail, tracking included.
