Description
Here it is. You've heard about it and maybe have seen it before. Here's the deal, how the three 70's epicenters of punk broke down: 1) UK was way political 2) NYC self anointed itself important (typical) and characteristically took itself too seriously, and 3) L.A. KNEW IT WAS PRETTY MUCH ABSURD (ripped clothes, safety pins, mohawks, level of musicianship, etc), but what the hell the kids had sunshine and were drunk. So say FUCK YES to L.A. and def HELL NO to Boston. (FYI there is minor surface noise between some tracks but play is flawless, so M or maybe NM, either way). Comes in original clear sleeve and white cardboard insert.
Mostly original owner/purchased in L.A. in 70’s/80’s from the original Poobah and Aron’s Record Stores in Pasadena and Hollywood. I am releasing my HUGE original punk collection, 100 per month. 100’s of LPs and 7”s remain – check me out! Everything else purchased along the way, including at the back of club tables at places like Cathay de Grande, Club Lingerie, Madame Wong's.
