David Bowie - Hunky Dory very early 1972 UK release
APRS 5947 5E
APRS 5948 5E etched in the runout grooves..

A copy "like" this has just sold in an eBay auction for £65 and the record did not.match the cover.
Buy the proper example here for considerably less AND my copy is more than likely in better nick
Really great early copy of Hunky Dory from early 1972, with fantastic audio from the early heavy deep grooved vinyl only available on the earliest pressings
I've had so many copies of Hunky Dory and it's my opinion that these 5E pressings are easily as good as the fabled very expensive 3T pressings!
I've compared them COUNTLESS times and there is nothing in it, not just my opinion but also many Bowie fanatics hold the same view.
This copy has fantastic sound from playback, just class!!
The Vinyl is in fantastic condition, lovely and clean with a great gloss and bright labels.
There are a few sleeve removal light hairline but no big and nasty marks, a bit of surface noise on side 2 between some of the tracks but when the music kicks in especially on the likes of Queen Bitch it's superb.
One 10 second click on The Bewlay Brothers
Side 1 has the amazing sound again
No sticks or Jumps when played this afternoon on my Project Essential deck..
I test play all my records before listing, there are no visual grades on my listings, only honest descriptions. If it's not good enough it doesn't get listed
I've sold loads of Hunky Dory so I know a good copy when I hear it... And this is very fairly priced compared to what others are asking
If this, in this condition, was released a year earlier it would be worth 3 times the amount I'm asking.. So it's a no brainer if you want a superb copy of Hunky Dory at a great bargain price..
The record sleeve is still in very good order with a couple of buffs and light creases on 2 of the corners, BUT most importantly the album card is still strong, rigid and sturdy with no splits anywhere.. The Spine is in good condition if a little frayed but easily readable
The rear of the cover is still nice and clean and white and is very good for a Hunky Dory
Hunky Dory covers do not last well and are usually very worn and frayed NOT this one, whilst not perfect it's got LOADS of life left in it
Thanks for looking
Any questions please ask
Record will be sent by Royal Mail signed for
In a proper sturdy record mailer
