Description

An original 1st press of Low on the RCA label from 1977. Matrix A2/B1. Etching 'Sterling'. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover printed by Garrodprint Ltd. The original lyric insert is also present as is the 1977 RCA inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine an 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In magnificent condition and has only seen very light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very superficial marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Interference is very limited. Even the test track 'Warsaw'...plays very nice and clean. It's not perfect... there's still a couple of light crackles in a couple of spots, but this is about as clean as it's possible to achieve without taking one straight out of the 1977 wrapper!. Definitely one of the best copies I've auditioned.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely clean front without the usual creasing or wear. There's one tiny mark just above Bowie's head - it's difficult to make out and strangely actually blends in very well with the background - so it's not noticeable. The rear looks great too with only light handling. Edge wear is very light for this title and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity. A lovely specimen!
Insert (Ex) Very nice condition. No issues at all.
Inner (Ex) Very nice condition. No splits or issues at all.
