Description
The original self titled UK release from 1969. (Same record was released in 1972 as Space Oddity). One of the most sought-after items from Bowie's carreer. Catalog number SBL 7912
Condition (based on visuals only, since I don't want to play it on my low-grade record player):
Record: VG+ No bad scratching. Mostly just small marks. One bigger scratch on the lead out-area on one side. Labels show no damage at all, and the vinyl looks shiny and good.
Cover: VG or VG+ Shows normal wear for a more than 40 year old album. Since the cover is unlaminated it has taken some damage over the years. No real tears or scratches apart from a small mark on the front (see photos). Edges and spine are worn but without major damage (Print on spine is completely worn out in places, see photos). No ring wear on cover. Small ink marking on in top left corner of back. (see photos).
The record can be shipped anywhere in the world, and I will pack it very carefully. I will ship with traceable and insured courier when possible. (at buyers expence). If you have specific preferences regarding packing or shipping, just let me know.
The record is in good condition for a 40 year old album, but It's still buyer beware. I've graded the condition as honestly as possible. Don't expect a new album.
EDIT: I've played the recor. It plays really well. Nothing bad. A couple of "pops" at the end of song 1 on side 1. Other than that no real defects apart from small crackling. (it's a 40 year old record after all)...
