Description

An original '72 USA RCA 1st of the Oddity title when RCA re-released this material to coincide with Bowie's meteoric rise. Matrix 3S/3S. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover which mentions 'Mercury' in the bottom right on the front - and does NOT mention 'Mainman' top right on the rear. We also have the original bespoke inner too.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In marvellous condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. A lot of fussy acoustic sections on this title. Don't risk a 50/50 copy - make sure you get a clean player like this one. I can assure you - it has to play clean! ..otherwise any background will quickly irritate with this title. VERY clean signalled. Hard to find fault - plays clean into slow builds. Love it. A cracker!
Cover (Ex) Looking far better than most original copies because I've just whipped it out of the original shrink! Usually this title will exhibit surface wear front and rear. None of that here! Very nice solid card employed - we just have a minor surface level crease bottom left on the rear. Minimal edge wear and firm openings. The spine is 99% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) NO SPLITS! and there is no ageing.
