Description
This is an original US single by David Peel & The Lower East Side from 1972 on Apple Records. The A-side is Apple PRO 6498 "F Is Not A Dirty Word" and it's Mono. The B-side is SPRO 6499 "The Ballad Of New York City/John Lennon Yoko Ono" and it's Stereo. It is a promo copy and there were no stock copies pressed. Both sides are produced by John Lennon and Yoko Ono. Both songs are from David Peel's best album : "The Pope Smokes Dope". The A-side has been edited so that it could get radio airplay. ( But, I bet it never got any airplay !!) The "F" word has been bleeped out 22 times. David Peel sings about the many usages of the "F" word, like pain, pleasure, hate & love and how it can be a verb, adjective, adverb, and a noun. The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint. The labels are perfect. It comes in a VG+ black Apple sleeve.
I have been buying and selling records for more than 20 years. I sell records at all Northwest record conventions and at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.
I will package this record between two pieces of 1/2 inch thick cardboard. (It's so thick that you will save it and use it again.) It will weight 6 ounces when ready to ship. You can figure out your own postage costs for US First class or First Class Mail International for overseas. I will send it as soon as you pay. (same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM.) I will combine postage if you win more than one record. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.
