Legendary (holy grail) German Funk record that was recorded in Switzerland. I promise: You won't find a better copy than this. The record was in a special plastic record cover since 1968. Like sealed! Record looks and plays near mint.
Dee-Dee McNeil and Barry Window on vocals, Joel Vandroogenbroeck (of Brainticket fame) on flute plus Hammond organ, BARNEY WILEN on tenor and sopranosaxophone, Ronald Bryer on guitar, Peter Giske on bass and Wolfgang Paap on drums.
Heavy heavy Sould and Funk tracks throughout. Superb singing and wild organ and flute solos. The drums are totally raw. You all know the "Get Out Of My Life, Woman" track off this LP. Nute there are yuite a few other bangers. Like "Summertime", "Soultime" (by Vandroogenbroeck), "Funky-Funky Broadway", "Midnight Hour" or "Hold On I'm Coming". This is the best Funk record out of Europe. Such a dope sound and a crazy amount os samples!
