An original 1st press of MH on original UK on Purple - freaking amazing quality... Matrix A1/B1. "Gramophone" text in perimeter....The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original G&L cover. Also included is the original generic white inner sleeve PLUS....3 Panel original [only at 1st pressing] LYRIC POSTER [MINTY McGINTY]. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of trace marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation. Superb audio with NO background. What's not to like? It's a clean player. Signal path is perfectly clean barring -- the opening notes by BLACKMORE in LAZY..... As he ups the tempo and volume it goes fully clean. That was literally the only issue...and given the rest plays at Ex+....I could easily handle that...ha! The other big advantage is....the cleaner you start...the cleaner it will play when the AMP is up on '11'. IT will blast the neighbours to kingdom-come. Highly recommended in ALL DIRECTIONS>..certainly best I have witnessed for preservation. POWERFUL AUDIO. If you want to get to the essence of Blackmore brilliance...well, IT'S ALL HERE!...and a PAICE masterclass...
Cover (Ex) In amazing condition and has been cared for down the years. Lovely shiny front with minimal creasing. The opening has that perfect rigidity you find on newly purchased items. INTERIOR -- bloody perfect! The rear is in very very smart condition with almost no handling.... Hardly any edge wear...just a tiny 1 inch wear patch and the openings still sharp. The spine is fully intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A very very fine specimen.
Inner (Vg+) Lightly aged. But no splits.
POSTER (EX+) --- Best copy I have ever witnessed..it looks like it was printed yesterday.
