Hi on offer this week is a very rare and seldom seen ORIGINAL FIRST UK PRESSING! on the Top Rank Label of "Topper Most Vol-1" by Dion And The Belmonts from 1960 with matrix stampers 1U indicating first pressing. The paper labels are in very good shape with no signs of writing or wear and the thick heavy gauge vinyl is in a minimum & guaranteed VG++ fully listened to both sides from start to finish grade with some very light hairlines but the original high gloss sheen is wonderfully preserved and looks very well cared for over the last 56 YEARS!!! playback sound quality is CRYSTAL CLEAR! with no signs of distortion at all but some very small amount & occasional clicks as follows - Side A-track (1) has 3/4 quite clicks at the beginning and that's all for side A. Side B-track (3) has 2 clicks, track 4 has 3 clicks. Surface noise between all tracks is very quite but the dead wax at the end of both sides has a little surface noise but silent dead wax at the end of a 56 year old record does not exist in my experience, it does not exist even on some freshly pressed records I have. Cover is in a VG grade with a 2 inch split on the bottom seam and the corners are a little rounded. This has even retained it's original fold over flap inner paper inlay graded in a VG grade also. This is the only copy listed on e-bay at the moment and there are none available on Discogs or Musicstack so please do not miss this one as they very rarely appear on here....or anywhere for that matter. My asking price is very flexible as the "best offer" button suggests as I want this Lp sold quickly, however if this record has not sold after the end of listing it will not be listed again due to the fact I have now heard Dion's version of "it's only a paper moon" and that is good enough reason to earn it a permanent place in my collection, also I will not need any extra money by then either. Please buy with total confidence from a fellow record collector who knows how to grade records and is very honest and cautious about condition, I have been collecting records of all kinds from vinyl to shellac since I was 8 years old and I am now 36 so I have heard everything there is when it comes to badly graded records and I cannot abide people that list records as "mint" grade when 99% of the time they are not. My gradings are as honest as possible and I firmly believe that the term "mint" does not exist unless the record is fresh & sealed from the pressing plant and even then they can have surface noise due to the nature they are pressed. if you are not happy then a refund is always offered once the disc is returned :-)
