Incredibly rare UK EMI Lansdowne Series Don Shinn Departures Jazz LP from 1969 in original Garrod and Lofthouse EMI flip back sleeve. Record is complete with original 1969’ EMI inner sleeve.

Lp cover

The cover is in nice original condition. The front laminate is complete and overall excellent condition. The edges are straight with some minor rubbing. There is some minor ring wear but that is to be expected given its age and fairly lightweight sleeve. The lettering on the spine is in perfect condition. There are no splits or stressing of edges. All flip backs are firmly glued and free from damage. There are some minor creases. The cover is nice and clean. Overall I am grading it as excellent. There are plenty of photographs which are all of the actual lp.

Sound quality

The record has been play tested from start to finish no both sides on a Rega P6 with Goldring 2400 Cartridge. The sound quality is as close to mint as you will find. There is no surface, pops or clicks. Plays superbly both sides. The labels are nice and clean. On the playing surface there is very little signs of play or use. I can only detect 3 or 4 very hard to see minor hairlines. The vinyl still retains its shine and lustre which shows this lp has been barely played.

Postage will be in professional mailers with cardboard inserts to protect the lp and record. The lp and inner sleeve will be removed from the lp sleeve for shipping.
