Description
I am reluctantly selling some of my jazz LP collection that I have put together over the past 30 years. Look at my other acutions for more LPs and in the weeks to come I will be listing others.
This copy of Donald Byrd's Tansition LP (TRLP 17), Byrd Blows on Beacon Hill is in remarkable condition for a 50+ year old record. It is the finest copy of this LP that I have come upon in my many years of chasing down jazz records.
The jacket is in solid VG+ condition, and for a TRANSITION jacket it's about as nice as you'll ever find! As you know, the seams will split on these if you look at them! There are slight corner dings and the top seam has been repaired. The rare original BOOKLET is in NM condition.
The disc itself is beautiful with only a couple of minor scuffs that can be seen when the disc is held up to direct light. The labels are both intact and attached (if you know anything about Transtion LPs you know this is fairly rare!). I would grade the disc NM. You would be hard pressed to EVER find a nicer copy of this EXCEEDINGLY rare jazz LP!!!
