Description
This is the original RVG-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Donald Byrd “The Cat Walk” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4075. The playing surface is in excellent condition, with a nice luster; a group of inaudible marks on the second track and beginning of the last track on Side 2; normal inaudible storage splotching; “Review Copy” stamped on the Side 1 label. The laminated New York 23 cover is in near-new condition – immaculate in every respect – with just a 1/8” ding at the top right corner. Blue Note inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Pepper Adams, Duke Pearson, Laymon Jackson, and Philly Joe Jones. $200.00.
