Shipping & Handling

Our shipping varies according to items. Some are Flat rate, such as most stamps and small flat items. Some is weight based such as glass and china. Use the shipping calculator as needed. We will try ship the most effecient method possible. There is a small handling charge included with the shipping, Usually $.50 to cover packaging and labor.Some items such as records are charged $1.00 as special materials musxt me purchased to ship them safely and they are expensive. These are included in the shipping charges when you use the "Shipping Calculator" below.

Payment/Checkout

We accept the following forms of payment:

Pay-Pal (Preferred) --- Money Order --- Cash --- BidPay --- Credit Cards through Pay-Pal-----Personal Checks NOT accepted

Checkout Procedure: We require that you use out Marketworks checkout procedure. This will automatically give you choices for shipping. It figures shipping costs,  combines multiple auction winnings, lets you decide which shipping method you want, allows you to include insurance if desired, and more.  This will save you time by not having to email us about shipping charges, combining auctions payment methods etc. Please don't email me after the auction that you don't want to use it for one reason or another, it is required if you bid on this item.  Hundreds of buyers use it every day and we get lots of good feedback on how well they like it.

Pay Pal is coordinated with this system and will NOT allow you to go directly to PayPal and make a payment. You MUST check out through this checkout!

Marketworks is a Preferred Partner with Ebay and PayPal. It IS a SECURE transaction.

We run several hundreds of auctions per week and are unable to keep up with the "after auction activities" without this program. Thank You for your assistance.

Returns

Our first and foremost concern is your satisfaction with your purchase from ACME Shops. We will gladly refund your purchase price --less shipping and insurance -- upon return of the item you purchased from us within 7 days of your receipt of the item.  The item must be returned in the same condition it was sent to you, including any packaging and/or instructions and manuals, if included. If an item was insured, a claim must be submitted for a broken, damaged or lost item. If it was not insured, broken or lost items will not be refunded.

Please note that some items such as large orders of stamps unsorted in boxes or glassines or  certain truck manuals may not be returnable. This will be clearly stated in the description section of these particular items.

FAQs

1.     Will you combine shipping on multiple items?
        Yes, every effort will be made to combine shipping on items purchased or won at any of your shops. The only exception is when the  combined items require two or more boxes to fit the items into. Under those circumstances, shipping will be adjusted.
2.     Will you ship overseas?
        We will ship anywhere in the world.Insurance IS Recommended on all overseas shipments. If you do not desire insurance please      send us an e-mail saying so for our records. We are not responsible for lost or broken items if you refuse insurance.
