Mercury SR90228 "Marcel Dupre At Saint Sulpice Vol 2" Ultra rare original one-sided test pressings, white labels. NO RESERVE. Mastered and pressed at Mercury's Richmond, Indiana plant. Original sleeves designate "SR 90228A1 approved by R. Fine & SR 90228B1 approved by R. Fine" For those of you who do not go back to record collecting in the 1950's as I do, Robert Fine, together with his wife Wilma were the founders and owners of Mercury Records. See actual pictures. The lps have some scuffs (not scratches) on them which do sound when played on an analytical audiophile system but the dynamics and sound quality of this test pressing are just overwhelming as compared to the commercially released version of same. From my personal collection which dates back to the 1950's. These are offered more as a collector's item and due to the unique nature of the offering sale is final.
