Description

An original 1st press of RIO for the UK market. Matrix A3/B1. The vinyl comes housed in an original textured cover. We also have the bespoke inner too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great condition having seen only relatively light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing seemingly troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with minor deviation in a couple of spots. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. This record has lots of lowkey passages - not many copies will deliver it nice and clean. This is on a lot of folks fave list and you really need a clean copy to do it maximum justice. Plays better than you typically find. At worst a few crackles in one isolated spot per side. And a couple of ticks in one isolated spot early on side 2.
Cover (Vg+) In lovely condition with clean, and importantly, untarnished surfaces. Don't get caught out on this title - they were hellishly difficult to keep in decent condition. Sometimes you get low-level hidden foxing, colour fade, or excessive surface wear. One slight scuff on the lady's cheek. Some edge wear ..but nothing bad. Spine 90% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Not affected by ageing or foxing. No splits.
