Description



An original 1st press of RIO for the UK market.  Pressed heavy - and not all vinyl from this period looks or feels like this. The vinyl comes housed in an original textured cover. We also have the bespoke inner too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. 
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition having seen only light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome though [fully tested]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. This record has lots of lowkey passages - not many copies will deliver it fully clean. This is on a lot of folks fave list and you really need a super clean copy to do it maximum justice. Plays much better than you typically find. You wanna hear the intro to Rio with quiet intros - then this copy would be the one to opt for. The slam funk intro to 'New Religion' is clean as they come - tight and taut. One solitary tick across whole LP. Super resolving potential deep into the mix. Really great player.
Cover (Ex-) In lovely condition with clean and only slight wear on surfaces. Don't get caught out on this title - they were hellishly difficult to keep in decent condition. Sometimes you get low-level hidden foxing, colour fade, or surface wear. Slight edge wear and with sharp firm openings. Spine 95% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity..
Inner (Vg+) Slight ageing. No splits.One crease.
