Description

Absolutely gorgeous copy of the rare original 1970 UK pressing of Elton’s classic Tumbleweed Connection LP on DJM Records DJLPS-410. Original textured cover with the booklet inside the gatefold. These first pressings are very rare, as he was not the famous icon yet that he became later, and the appeal was not nearly as wide so they didn’t press nearly the numbers his later records had. Not on the first pressings, anyhow. And the first UK pressing is widely regarded as the best sounding pressing except the 80s Japanese pressings.

This copy is just stunning. The disc is very nearly perfect mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. The cover has only light edge and corner wear, but barely. The booklet is perfect. A top, top original copy inside and out. Very hard to top this one.
