You are bidding on the ELVIS PRESLEY "TV GUIDE Presents ELVIS PRESLEY" 45 RPM Interview Record pictured above. This is an extremely rare record. There are a lot of counterfeits for sell on Ebay. Luckily most of the people selling them are honest and say so in their listing. I have included a scan of one to show the difference. This record also comes with the original questions sheet for the DJs. NOT PHOTO COPIES but the 100% original paperwork. The record is banded on the original and will only play one track at a time. To play the next track you have to pick the needle up and move it to the next track. The idea was, the DJ reads the question on the included sheet and plays the matching track number, and then Elvis answers the question. This way it sounds like he is answering at that moment. Very cool idea in 1956. Only the originals like this one are banded. All of the fakes play through all the tracks like a normal record. There were not very many of these made and very few of those survived. Since there was no music on them most of the radio stations just threw them away, and in the process created one of the rarest Elvis collectibles out there.
