GRAZIE ZIA / GUERRA E PACE POLLO E BRACE ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST single by ENNIO MORRICONE with child vocal ensemble VOCI BIANCHI di R. CORTIGLIONI. Original Italian pressing on the CAM label (AMP 40), from 1968. Desirable, Italian soundtrack and yet another brilliant example of the bizarre funk sound of the maestro. GUERRA E PACE POLLO E BRACE is like a demonic sounding Cantori Moderni di Alessandroni, but sung by children, and features menacing B-boy drums - boom bap - funky hip hop beats / rolls and fills. The choir is angelic, yet sinister, and gels perfectly with the delirious groove of Morricone's orchestra. Mood music like a schizophrenic nursery rhyme over psychedelic instrumentation with creepy bell sounding keyboard (similar to what you hear in early Dario Argento horror films). Great for DJs. Booming production sound. Comped on B-Music Drive In, Turn On, Freak Out on Andy Votel's Finders Keepers label. The experimental GRAZIE ZIA theme is spooky and atmospheric with dub production / phased voices and groovy baroque lounge finale. Arrangements for an erotic psychological and dark precursor of the Italian comedy film genre directed by Salvatore Samperi starring Lisa Gastoni / Lou Castel and Gabriele Ferzetti. For us, this is the 7-inch partner to the Chi L'Ha Vista Morire? Library on Gemelli label, a haunting giallo horror soundtrack featuring the equally spooky Coro Di Voci Bianchi Di Paolo Lucci children singers. Iconic pop art sleeve artwork by Sandro Simeoni too. Rare OST 45!!!

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG condition with light scuffs and hairlines. Booming production sound to 'Guerra E Pace...' side. Light surface noises and a few soft pops / ticks to the very gentle sounding 'Grazie Zia' side (as you can hear on the soundclip). The soft card picture sleeve is in strong, VG+ condition overall with speckled age spotting and some mini wear marks to front sleeve (mostly to the upper left spine side). Ring creasing and general creasing from storage. Ring dirt marks / corner and edge wear in places. Rare OST 45!!!
