Description
Well here we have Eddy Arnold ‘Texarkana Baby’ on green vinyl. 7” scholars may recognise this as one of the very earliest ever commercially released 7” records. There seems to be some uncertainty about whether it was ‘first’ (see entry on discogs and comments below for example) but safe to say it was one of the first ever and its catalogue number for RCA (48-0001) and release date of 31st March 1949 put it at the early cutting edge of 45rpms
Grading:
Sleeve - Ex. Some light creasing, no splits.
Record - VG, some light hairlines and scuffs, however I have play tested both sides - no skips or jumps. As you can see there is some damage to the label on the a-side. I was tempted to repair this to make it less unsightly but thought I would leave this decision to the new owner. See pictures.
I package record outside sleeve, both in protective covers, in sturdy cruciform mailers.
If there are any problems with your order whatsoever then please get in touch. I offer a 100% money back guarantee.
