Up for your bidding consideration one Edison Electrically recorded diamond disc."If I'm Wrong,Sue Me" Mx. no. 19237-B-1-1. by Billy Murray & His Merry Melody Men// "My Old Man" by Bob Pierce Mx. no. 19236-B-1-1. [ Old Man Sunshine].Record number 52611,released August 1929.This record was only sold until October 1929 [a mere two months] when Edison closed the doors for good.Billy Murray is in fine form here,plenty of witty lyrics and jazzy backup provided by the Merry Melody Men.A cover name for the California Ramblers. Walter Scanlan [A.K.A. Walter Van Brunt] adds to the vocal lineup.Only forty more titles were issued after this one was.The series ended at 52651.
This record grades at E. NO laminations,seperations/cupped edges, or brown streaked grooves.Both labels good,no stickers on either side.It has light rubs/wear.A nice record for your collection!
