Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1956 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY - STRICTLY ELVIS released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA 994 dog on top) is in VERY GOOD+ condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
There are some visible marks/ scratches , however nothing too deep or drastic.
The centre labels are quite bright and have NO WRITING (see photos)
This is the RARER issue WITH Silver Horizontal Line.
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $50 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+ )for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is over 58 years old and is in nice condition for the age.
There are NO RIPS, TEARS or WRITING!(see photos)
The only thing that stops this grading higher is creases/scuff marks/ age discolouration and the start of a partial seam split on the side and along the bottom.
There is aloso a small numbered sticker on the front.
This is a really affordable collection filler until that MINT £75+ copy comes along.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $80( £50+approx) .
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £55.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
