This copy of Elvis Presley's self-titled first album came from an estate of a woman who built her house in 1953 and lived there until her death 3 years ago. I bought the property and the contents of the house. The album, along with others listed, were in a record cabinet that didn't appear to have been used since the 1960s--the records just stayed there, and the cabinet was used as a TV stand until I cleared out the records and made this interesting find. I've done my research; the record appears to be a 2nd pressing, as you can tell by looking at the top right-hand corner of the cover (LPM-1254), as well as the serial numbers on the vinyl itself (G2 PP1283 5S and 6S). The Words ELVIS on the cover are bright pink. It's also easy to see that it's an early record because The back cover has the stamp of the record store (Hauschild's Victoria, Price 3.98). The vinyl record was definitely played and enjoyed--there are numerous small scratches, but it was not abused. And there is no warping whatsoever. The cover has absolutely no side-splits, but there is yellowing and some staining, as well as a wax-pencil mark on the back. All-in-all, I'd say it's in fair to good original condition, and I've priced it accordingly.
I'm new to selling, but not new to E-Bay. I've been buying for years and have a 100% positive rating. As a seller, I expect honesty from sellers, and will do my best to be honest as a seller and describe items to the best of my ability.
