BENNY GOLSON 'JUST JAZZ' LP  AUDIO FIDELITY   STEREO AFSD-6150    * * * Despite the  AFLP-2150 catalog # on the jacket, this is the STEREO version from 1963, not the mono version from '62. (Label has catalog # 2150.)   This LP was originally released as "Jazz + Pop=Swing", which featured a Pop orchestra overdubbed over the original jazz session as the title might suggest, and the result was rather unfortunate! This release of the original session was  welcome among true jazz fans.   Jazz collectors seek high and low for this LP, mainly because of the timeless performance by Eric Dolphy! With Wayne Shorter Bill Evans, Freddy Hubbard, Curtis Fuller, Ron Carter, Grachen Moncur, Bill Hardman, Charlie Persip    * * * VINYL:NM (Stunningly pristine vinyl looks gorgeous and appears to be unplayed!. Some very slight paper scuffs do not significantly affect sound or appearance of this gloriously clean record!) LABELS:NM (Gray AF labels look excellent!) COVER: VG++ (Nice vintage jacket looks EXCELLENT with only the faintest signs of wear. All corners firm with slight hints of bumping or creasing. Very faint ring wear present on back cover. Small hole punch in top right hand corner.  Despite these minor flaws, this jacket looks great - a truly well kept vintage record cover!) * * * LOW STARTING BID! GREAT COPY! NO RESERVE!
