Continuing the sale of my 1950s/60s records, all of which were bought new at the time of issue and have been played less than a dozen times, I am offering a very rare 1959 Ewan McColl/Dominic Behan classic LP. The cover (which is itself a rare variant on this issue, see photo) is in fantastic condition back & front and the labels well-nigh perfect also. It really is very close to as new condition, you won't find a better one unless it's sealed in an unopened pack! The record plays beautifully, as indeed it should, having been played no more than 6 times in 52 years! - with only a little background crackle here and there and a few subdued clicks. The surface of the record looks very nice with a few light scuffs and scratches. The enclosed booklet with script and lyrics is there also, in as new condition. This one has a stitched spine, unlike other versions which have (usually rusty) staples. This is a real collector's item.
