Ex Saveyons – ‘Running Wild’ / ‘Where Do I Go From Here’ – Smoke 609 (US)

Two achingly beautiful sweet soul sides from this New Jersey group (whose name is also written as The Exsaveyons) whose output consists of only two singles, both for the Newark-based Smoke label. Of the two, this, their second release, is by far the rarest. A Robert Banks production. Top copy, don’t miss it.  

Condition: Excellent or thereabouts, about as good as these occasionally rough pressing get (please listen to the clips). Clean labels, small tear on the A-side (please see scans).

Shipping from Sweden is expensive – though the rest of the world is surely catching up, not least the US – not least due to the fact that the weight increments are few and far apart, but it’s usually swift and safe.
