Description

This is part of a big auction full of 1950's blues and R&B 45's that I'm running this week. This time the last 25+ Excello records as well as several from End, Robin, Atco and some great bonus listings as always.

Release: Lazy Lester - I Told My Little Woman / Tell Me Pretty Baby


Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1957


Notes: Original orange label first pressing. Third single by Lester, who really has a unique style. Different from most of the blues of the era. A-side is a pretty straightforward blues, but b-side is a really interesting R&B track that would feel perfectly at home on the radio today.  


Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Labels are nice, with no writing/tearing/stickers. There is just the slightest hint of scuffing on the Woman side.  This is a really nice copy overall.


Thanks for looking and keep an eye on my store as well.  Due to vacation plans, I'm swapping out my Jazz auction to run in late Feb. I keep finding cool stuff and haven't gotten it all sorted out.  A 60's rock auction after that with a bunch of picture sleeves.
