Magnet, UK, 1973

MAG 5002

OBSCURE BRITISH progressive rock band featuring vocalist Pete Goalby (who writes most of the material) who would later go on to front Uriah Heep in the early eighties. Music is quintessential rural rock - a mixture of hard rock and progressive with all the right moves. At times they sound like Free/Bad Company then drift into a sort of CSNY vibe before climbing back on board the rock machine with a jaunty amalgam of Hookfoot, Bronco, Capability Brown, Fantasy and Gypsy.  

Tough to find in decent shape. This one is immaculate - looks like it stepped out of the factory yesterday.

Vinyl: Superb clean condition. No spindle marks and no signs of use. Grades as archive MINT!

Cover: Again, no signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated gate fold cover. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is straight, stiff and totally uncrushed. Looks like it stepped out of the factory yesterday. Beautiful and impossible to find like this 45 years after release. Grades as shop fresh MINT-!
