OBSCURE BRITISH progressive rock band featuring vocalist Pete Goalby (who writes most of the material) who would later go on to front Uriah Heep in the early eighties. Music is quintessential rural rock - a mixture of hard rock and progressive with all the right moves. At times they sound like Free/Bad Company then drift into a sort of CSNY vibe before climbing back on board the rock machine with a jaunty amalgam of Hookfoot, Bronco, Capability Brown, Fantasy and Gypsy.  

Tough to find in decent shape. This one is immaculate - looks like it stepped out of the factory yesterday.

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Pressing: Magnet, UK, 1973

Vinyl: Superb clean condition. One lone spindle mark but no other signs of use whatsoever - I would say unplayed. Grades as shop fresh MINT!

Cover: Again, no signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated gate-fold cover. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is straight, stiff and totally uncrushed. Looks like it stepped out of the factory yesterday. Beautiful and impossible to find like this 46 years after release. Grades as MINT-!
