Description

Fairport Convention---"What We Did On Our Holidays"---Original UK 1st Pressed Stereo Album In EX Playing/G Sleeve Condition On The "Bullseye" Island Label---A & B-2 From 1968

This is a UK copy from 1968 in stereo on the "bullseye" Island label, cat. no. ILPS-9092 with matrices A & B-2.

Vinyl: EX. The vinyl is in lovely condition with a few hairline marks and a 1 cm unfeelable scratch on the run in of side 2. It plays through great with just a  little ticking on the very quiet and short "Lord Is In This Place" on side 1 and also a little light ticking on track 1 of side 2 from the 1 cm scratch as mentioned.

Labels: EX. The "Witchseason" pink "bullseye" labels are in nice condition with a little grubby marking around the spindle holes. They have heavy use spindle wear.

Sleeve: G. The laminated 1st issue sleeve is in very weak condition with lots of wear. There is very heavy edge and corner wear and lots of creasing. It is the original with "Made In England" text on the back but there are some tears in the opening edge. The record is still in the original lined inner sleeve with "UK Patent No.1,072,844. Foreign Patents Pending" text, which is in VG+ condition.

With a low start price you could get yourself a real bargain.

Many thanks for looking at this and our other vinyl to be auctioned.

Please note that all records we sell are listened to in their entirety and are graded generously according to Record Collector guidelines. None of the vinyl has jumps or skips unless advised in the description.

We can send by insured post if required--please check for price.
