FAIRPORT CONVENTION What we did on our holidays UK 69 PINK ISLAND 3rd PRESS Top

Welcome to my shop...as ever, everything is graded/described correctly, conservatively, and honestly....please check my feedback and bid with the utmost confidence. I'll be continually listing a varied selection of vinyl throughout 2012. My gradings use + to ++++ as I believe the standard grading system of just, for example, EXCELLENT is far too wide and can be misleading....and MINT always means MINT (flawless sleeve & unplayed flawless vinyl) and I'm not afraid to use the term VERY GOOD (which ,incidentally, does not mean trashed !). No hype, just the relevant factual detail.

CONDITION

SLEEVE

The E.J.Day Group fully laminated sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition. A solid, crisp sleeve with only a few laminate creases mainly round the edges, a thin slither of laminate list down the spine edge front face, very light wear to the corners, ring wear (more noticeable on the front face), and a few light indentations. There is no edge wear, no dings/dents, no discolouration, no mustiness, no grubbiness, no folds, no tears, no sellotape, no stickers, no seam splits, no writing, no wear and no softening to near perfect opening edges, and no wear to a near perfect thin spine. The sleeve grades VERY GOOD++.

INNER SLEEVE

The correct UK Patent No polylined inner sleeve has no seam splits or tears, only some creasing, and grades VERY GOOD++.

VINYL

The record has not been played a great deal....has NO scratches, and only a few light largely inconsequential surface marks and scuffs, and only a few of the very lightest sleeve removal scuffs. The vinyl grades VERY GOOD+++ and plays with some light background noise / clicks only in parts, and with NO distortion, NO jumps, NO skips, NO sticks, NO pops.

LABELS

The textured labels grade near MINT , with only a few visible spindle marks on each side, with no wear to near perfect spindle holes, and no unwanted wear or writing.

If needed (or requested by purchaser), the vinyl is cleaned using the correct mix of distilled water and fluid on an OKKI NOKKI Record Cleaning Machine.

This record has been cleaned, and has been given a new polylined inner sleeve.

STILL NOT SURE, THEN CHECK MY FEEDBACK AND BID WITH CONFIDENCE!

Please bid with confidence as my descriptions are accurate and honest (check my feedback)....when grading/describing, as a vinyl addict and collector, I always think "what would I want to know?"!. In order to achieve this I describe in the factual detail required for buyers to make there own decisions.....I won't try and mislead, and won't overlook flaws in order to hike up the price ! As you can see I usually use two pics at the most.....if ,however, you do require more close ups please do not hesitate to contact me and this can be arranged through email.
