This record is in excellent+ condition. It has light spindle marks visible on the labels but no pen marks, scuffs or fading anywhere. The centres are not loose and overall they are in good shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything remotely serious and have a lovely gloss. There are a couple of very light minor wispy lines just visible in normal light but nothing at all major as I say. These and a few more extremely minor wispy lines are visible under very bright white light but again nothing sinister. The record has no nasty scuffs or blemishes and has a lovely vivid shine. It is in fantastic condition for 47 years old!
I play tested the record and it plays really well. It lays flat, there is next to no movement in the record arm and the sound produced is superb throughout. Its crisp, defined and really clear with little to no interference audible. There is a hint in the run in on both sides and I heard the most minimal trace at the beginning of track 4 on side 1 but the vast majority is completely surface noise free. There are of course no skips, sticks or clicks and no pops or any other serious issues. It was a thoroughly enjoyable play test and produced audio of very high quality with little to no interference or distortion.
The front laminated sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has some wear to the edges and corners(pics), but the writing along the spine is still clearly legible. Despite this wear there are no splits or weak areas anywhere and overall the sleeve is solid enough. It has no tears or pen marks anywhere but there is a sticker removal 'repair' on the rear in the top right corner area(pics). Other than this there is also mild ring marks showing on both sides and some creasing to the laminate. There is not a horrific amount but there is some to the front and also flipbacks on the rear. Overall the sleeve is clean, bright and strong with no major defects bar the repair. I have tried to capture the sleeves issues as best I can in the pictures provided so please study these to gain as much information as possible.
It includes its original plain white poly-lined inner which is in excellent- condition. This has no splits, tears or pen marks but does have some age related grubbiness, discolouring and creasing.
There is unfortunately no poster included.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
