Description
THIS IS A VERY SPECIAL BOOK ABOUT THE GREAT UK MUSIC LABEL - VERTIGO RECORDS. NOT A VINYL RECORD!!! This is a privately manufactured and printed book aimed at the serious collector and each copy was individually ordered from Mr. Grishin in Moscow and as such is dedicated inside the front cover by Yuri to his customer, in this case me. So inside the cover you have hand written - my name, 'With Best Wishes" - and signed and dated by Yuri. In 2009 it retailed at £67.00 + £23 postage from Moscow! The book is in full colour and looks at the record sleeves and the ever changing Vertigo record labels (particularly the various differences in the famous 'SWIRL' labels), so you can tell what pressing you have of each record, If you are a serious collector of VERTIGO Records 60's and 70's product this is for you. Any wear there is has come simply from life on the book shelf and this book is in the condition it arrived from Russia. It was manufactured with a laminate covering over the paper and it is this laminate that makes it hard to photograph the cover, which is in fact as bright and colourfull as the original record sleeves and VERTIGO labels!
This a very heavy book and will be sent by My Hermes signed for /tracked service or can be collected from the West Ealing area of London
